Global Response

This exhibit will walk the visitor through the reactions and collective response the rest of the world had to the terrorist attacks on our country on 9/11. Citizens and governments all around the world made gestures of support and expressed unity with America. Following the attacks, for the first time in history, Article 5 of the NATO Alliance, the mutual defense clause, was invoked; an attack against one was an attack against all.
