Update for Visitors of the Pentagon Memorial

To prepare for the 9/11 Observance Ceremony on September 11, 2022, the Pentagon Memorial will be closed to the public starting at 4pm EDT on Friday September 9, 2022. 

The Pentagon Memorial will reopen to the public at 1pm EDT on September 11, 2022. The 9/11 Observance Ceremony that will be held on the morning of September 11, 2022, is for family members of the victims and invited guests.  

Any family members of the victims of the September 11th Pentagon attack, who would like to visit the Memorial during the time it is closed to the public, are encouraged to contact the Pentagon Special Events Office to coordinate a visit to the Pentagon Memorial.  This office can be reached at 571-256-0942 or via email at [email protected]
